The exhibition has a great deal of potential in setting a modern design culture in optical display, as well as the possible uses of optical computer based display, videoview and video conferencing technology in optical display. But despite these tangible advantages, many important issues remain unanswered. First there is the construction of the storage mechanism in such an optical display of the above mentioned type.

The photodetector chips are built into the frame or head frame of the optical display and one unit can be housed therein. But the optical display surface of the microcomputer presents a number of issues.
