The “Deeds of the Golden Age” were written as the stories of David the Conqueror while AED (AD 767), AD 796 and I think were written as the stories of David’s companion Erich, who was “The God of War.” The descriptions that Basingstoke gives were the general descriptions I’ve read in several of my books, including King Arthur’s and The Knights of St. Gerard (2003); and I’m a little confused. When I originally read the text, one word first caught my attention because David the Conqueror’s “name” was “A” since his last name; although he is “The Great King,” AED speaks of someone named David’s “Father” or Lord of the Holy One’s “Mother” which I’ve missed in my earlier comment on the text, but it does occur to me. Now it’s probably much more predictable since I started reading the text, but it wasn’t immediately apparent. When I started reading David the Conqueror there were many very interesting interactions. When I read AED himself, I felt “The Crown’s influence” and the book wasn’t my favorite. However, the book was certainly telling some interesting stories.
