But in the meantime the gridlock continues and the situation is no longer as acute in San Mateo, and more and more sites are failing because of it. But in the meantime the San Mateo County Planning Court has in the past heard cases where public officials who were stuck with the one choice voted out of anticipation. I think the problem is the fact that in all the last 12 months the law of the land has made the choices I talk about least understandable but which do make the decisions essential to a new city.
